Description

The TitanTour-700 Series is an expedition-grade heavy-duty touring bicycle engineered for trans-continental expeditions and high-utilization rental fleets. Built by our factory with 18 years of specialized chromoly steel frame welding experience, this platform utilizes double-butted 4130 alloy tubing to absorb high-frequency trail vibrations while sustaining a 180 kg total system weight capacity (rider and cargo).
Standardized with universal component interfaces, threaded bottom brackets, and extensive braze-on infrastructure, this platform allows global tour operators and bicycle brands to deploy durable, field-repairable units under custom OEM specifications.

Key Features

01/

Expanded Cargo Infrastructure: Features 45 integrated stainless steel threaded eyelets across the frame and fork, supporting full-coverage pannier racks, front/rear low-riders, fender sets, and up to six bottle or gear cages.

02/

Vibration-Damped Frame Geometry: Longer chainstays (455mm), a lowered bottom bracket drop (75mm), and an optimized headtube angle maintain straight-line tracking and stable steering balance under heavy front and rear pannier loads.

03/

Robust Axle and Dropout Interface: Forged sliding dropouts with 12x142mm rear thru-axle configuration eliminate frame flex under heavy torque and prevent wheel misalignment during rough terrain descents.

04/

Corrosion-Resistant Surface Treatment: Internal frame cavity rust-inhibiting ED (Electrophoretic Deposition) coating paired with a dual-layer electrostatic powder coat finish withstands salt-fog exposure and abrasive environments.

05/

Field-Serviceable Architecture: Uses external cable routing, threaded 68mm BSA bottom brackets, and standard 1-1/8 inch threadless headsets to ensure mechanical compatibility with replacement parts in remote regions.

Applications

Commercial Adventure Tour Fleets:

Multi-week guided expedition operators requiring low-maintenance bicycles capable of enduring thousands of kilometers of unpaved gravel and dirt roads.

Bicycle Rental & Leasing Companies:

High-turnover municipal and regional tourism hubs needing durable frames that withstand frequent user handling and variable weather conditions.

Outdoor & Cycling Brands (OEM/ODM):

Companies expanding their catalog into adventure touring or bikepacking with a proven, pre-engineered steel platform ready for custom geometry tweaks and private branding.

Long-Distance Bikepacking & Expedition Riders:

Solo explorers requiring high structural load limits and standardized component spacing for emergency field repairs.

Manufacturing & Quality Control

Production takes place in our 25,000-square-meter manufacturing facility operating under ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems audited annually by TÜV Rheinland.

Frame Fabrication: Robotic MIG and TIG welding stations operated by certified technicians ensure penetration consistency across all high-stress joints. Precision alignment jigs hold frame tolerances within +/-0.5 mm.

In-House Testing Laboratory:
• Frame Fatigue Test: Pneumatic actuator systems subject sample frames to 150,000 cycles at 1,200N vertical load per ISO 4210 standards.
• Drop Test: Fork and frame assembly drop-tested with simulated payload weights to verify impact resistance.
• Salt Spray Testing: Paint and ED-coating samples undergo 500-hour ASTM B117 salt fog testing to verify corrosion resistance.

Traceability: Laser-etched serial numbers on every bottom bracket shell link back to specific batch steel mill certificates (EN 10204 3.1) and weld inspection logs.

OEM / ODM Customization

We support custom manufacturing modifications to match your brand specifications and fleet requirements:

Geometry & Tubing:

Custom top tube lengths, alternative head tube angles, or specific seatstay brace configurations.

Mounting Configurations:

Addition, relocation, or removal of cable guides, internal dropper post routing, belt-drive split dropouts (Gates Carbon Drive compatible), and specific rack boss layouts.

Finishing & Branding:

Custom pantone powder coating, liquid paint matching, wet-decals under clear coat, laser-etched seatstay caps, and custom headbadges.

Component Kit Assembly:

Semi-knocked down (SKD) bulk packing for local assembly, or completely built units (CBU) fitted with customer-specified drivetrains (Shimano, SRAM, or Microshift).

Packaging & Logistics

Packaging Methods:
• SKD 85% (Bulk B2B): Individual units secured in heavy-duty 7-layer double-wall corrugated cartons (1400 g/m^2 burst strength). Handlebars turned, front wheel and pedals removed, packed with high-density EPE foam cushioning and anti-scratch sleeves.
• CKD (Complete Knocked Down): Multi-unit industrial crates designed for maximum container space utilization.

Container Loading Capacity:
• 20ft GP Container: Approx. 160–180 units (SKD 85%)
• 40ft HQ Container: Approx. 380–420 units (SKD 85%)

Export Documentation: Commercial invoices, packing lists, Certificate of Origin (Form A / CO), and SGS ISO test reports supplied with every shipment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for OEM customized frame geometry or custom paint colors?

A: The standard MOQ for custom frame geometry changes is 100 units per batch. For custom Pantone color matching and private-label headbadges using our existing frame tooling, the MOQ is 50 units. Mixed sizing within the batch is permitted.

Q: How do you prevent frame rust on steel touring bikes destined for coastal or humid rental markets?

A: All frames undergo an internal and external chemical acid wash, followed by an electrostatically applied ED (Electrophoretic Deposition) rust-proofing primer coat that covers interior tube cavities before the final dual-layer powder coating is baked on. This process meets 500-hour salt-spray resistance standards (ASTM B117).

Q: Can the frame accommodate internal geared hubs or belt drives?

A: Yes. We offer modular dropout options that replace standard sliding derailleur dropouts with belt-drive split dropouts and sliding inserts for eccentric bottom brackets or belt tensioning, compatible with systems like Rohloff Speedhub and Gates Carbon Drive.

Q: What documentation is provided to verify structural safety and quality compliance?

A: Each production batch is backed by EN 10204 3.1 steel mill test certificates for the raw 4130 chromoly tubing, internal weld ultrasonic inspection reports, and third-party compliance certificates issued by SGS confirming adherence to ISO 4210 bicycle safety standards.

Q: What are the standard shipping configurations and lead times for bulk orders?

A: Standard production lead time is 45 to 60 days following deposit confirmation and engineering drawing sign-off. Cargo is shipped in 7-layer export cartons (SKD 85% configuration) optimized for standard pallet stacking or container floor loading.

Q: Do you supply samples for mechanical testing and prototype evaluation before mass production?

A: Yes. We provide pre-production prototype samples (PPS) manufactured using production tooling. Sample lead time is typically 20 to 25 days, with air-freight delivery arranged upon request for structural and field evaluation.
